Counselor Interview

Before this interview, I defined a condition pleader as someone who provides guidance to help with the development of a child aimmanally and kindlyly. However, I learned this is still their ism exclusively their duities have changed. As I interviewed, Ms. Childs a counsel from the Cypress-Fairbanks school regulate, I truly understood the difference amidst the role of a counselling and their duties. She has wanted to be a counselor since the troika grade. She had an excellent wide-eyed school counselor and always remembered her as being the nicest person on campus. later that expereince she aspired to do the same. She has been a school counselor now for 4 years, all in the set school tantrum. Ms. Childs explained that her district point more on developmental guidance for all levels. She believes her districts philosophy of school counselor is that all students are unique individuals with some talents, and through social and academician guidance they can produc e productive, responsible citizens. The counseling program in her district is clear defined, understood, and accepted by the students, teachers, administrators, parents, and the board of education. in that respect is a create verbally K-12 counseling and Counseling Program available called the Developmental Guidance Program.

The district sets the expectations and each individual school tailors it to fit the inevitably of their students. There is not a counselor serving any school and all grade levels in the unsubdivided setting , however, at that place is a counselor for both grade level in the bosom an d high schools in her district. At the eleme! ntary level there is one counselor per campus, at the middle school level there is one counselor for each 500 students, and at the high school level there are two counselors per grade level.
